Coloring Contest | 2017 Kids for the Cure



The Susan G. Komen® Ozark Affiliate is hosting a coloring contest to kick off the Kids for the Cure program in the 19th Annual 2017  Race for the Cure on April 22, 2017. The winner’s artwork will be used as the signature design on the Kids for the Cure T-shirts and the winner will also lead the Pledge of Allegiance on race day.

Kids for the Cure was developed in response to the realization that children are affected by breast cancer. They may have mothers, aunts, grandmothers, teachers and others in their lives that are going through the disease. This coloring contest is a way children can support the cause and become involved in an important organization.


  • Open to all children ages 12 years and under
  • Artwork must be submitted on an 8.5” X 11” white piece of paper
  • Bright colors work best; for best results only use 5-8 colors and must be in marker
  • Design must include the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Incorporation the 2017 race theme is encouraged: HONOR A HERO | BE A HERO
  • All submissions will become the property of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – Ozark, and may be used in promotional materials at the discretion of either entity without consideration of payment to entrant or any other person.
