How to Apply for Community Grants
Susan G. Komen Ozark will begin accepting grant applications on October 1, 2019.
The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020, Komen Ozark is investing more than $550,000 in 8 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in the 10 county service area. In addition to funding outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.
Komen Ozark will accept applications for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support project for the 10 county service area starting on October 1, 2019. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.

Applications are due to the office via the online grants system no later than 5 pm on November 10, 2019. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Grant award notifications will be sent in March of 2020 and, if awarded, grants will begin April 1, 2020 and end March 31, 2021.
To apply for a grant, please read the request for application (RFA) in full and apply through the Grants E-Management system (GeMS). An instruction manual for utilizing this system can be found below. It is also STRONGLY suggested that applicants read the available sections of the community profile in order to understand the needs of the affiliate service area as well as justification for grant programming.
